Most of my growth-and-product craft comes from Košík - Czech e-grocery at scale. I started in analytics (Python forecasting, P&L attribution) and moved into product as the business leaned harder into experimentation and international expansion.
Themes across the years
- Growth: New customer acquisition (Growth) - onboarding, personalisation, and experiment culture on web and mobile, including years with ~30% YoY new-customer growth.
- Efficiency: SEO and performance work that actually moved CAC, not just rankings.
- Catalog: Custom listing software - supplier portal and partner-built listing platform, ~40% less supplier communication time.
- Operations × product: Warehouse & logistics reliability with Metro - cut problem-order rate from ~20% to ~1% through cross-team reliability fixes customers actually feel.
- International: Metro joint venture - Strategic Expansion Planning, then International expansion and Kolichka on time and on budget.
- Forecasting: Demand forecasting - Python model replacing spreadsheet planning in daily ops, 5-10% planning accuracy improvement.
Analyst years (2019-2021)
Demand forecasting in Python, cost takeout, and a financial attribution model tying company KPIs to the P&L. That background still shapes how I define success metrics in product reviews.
Košík taught me that e-commerce product is logistics with a UI - if ops can't keep promises, no funnel hack saves you.
